We feel very blessed to have the support of another local non-profit in our community. The Valparaiso Theatrical Company supported us by giving us guaranteed proceeds from tickets we sell for their production of Two by Two which is described below. We are also providing refreshments at the May 8th production and all of the proceeds will be donated back to our non-profit - True North Training Stables, Inc. Please contact one of our board members for tickets. Mendy Norman, Liz Scharp, Cindy Sergent, Allana Linn or me (Colleen Lee).
Description
Richard Rogers entered his seventh decade of writing for the theater with this fresh retelling of the Biblical story of Noah. It seems that building the Ark was only the first of Noah’s many daunting challenges in a journey that wasn’t always smooth sailing. By turns inspirational and hilarious, we discover that being chosen by God for great things does not necessarily simplify the daily demands made of a father and husband. It’s good fun from The Good Book and when the land has dried, man and beast alike are invited to go forth and prosper on a bright new world.
Being performed at The First Presbyterian Church of Valparaiso
The Valparaiso Theatrical Company is a non-profit group meant to focus on providing fund-raising opportunities for other non-profit organizations. The company’s performances have taken them to many venues. The theater is currently working out of The First Presbyterian Church of Valparaiso 3401 Valparaiso Street, Valparaiso Indiana 46383 until which time we find a permanent home for our performances.
