True North Training Stables

True North is a loving nurturing environment that uses horses to mentor children and their families. True North strives to bring hope to others through the use of one of God’s most beautiful, majestic creatures. it is the mission of True North to help kids understand that they are perfectly and wonderfully made and even in times that seem like a massive storm, there is a port. There is someone out there that cares, someone that is willing to help, to listen and try to understand and some place where it is okay just to be you!

How We Help

To bring kindness, compassion and grace to those around us. To love others as Jesus loves us. We seek to love our neighbor and let His light shine through us
To provide a safe and positive experience for children and families to learn about God's saving grace, the hope of Jesus Christ and the love of one another in an authentic equine environment.
True North Training Stables is a faith-based organization. Although the ministry is not associated with any particular denomination, the foundation of our belief comes from the Christian values found in God's Word. The Founders and Directors believe in a Sovereign God and the saving grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is our greatest desire to serve God by the demonstration of our faith through action. Faith at the Stables is demonstrated through "living examples" to those with whom we work. It is our highest honor to serve children and families of all backgrounds with the same loving grace that has so freely been given to us.

Sponsor a Horse – Blondie & Brownie

Blondie and Brownie – Affectionately known as – “The Brudders”. They are a dynamic duo of biological brothers. They are the good will ambassadors at the farm. They are little tricksters and will do just about anything for treats. They love for you to brush them

Sponsor a Horse – Gary

Gary is a miniature version of Sky. He found his forever home with us after being returned by a rescue. He is beautifully and wonderfully made and we are truly fortunate to have been able to adopt him. We are discovering great qualities Gary has every day.

Sponsor a Horse -Whiskey

Whiskey is a quiet force to be reckoned with. He has a laid back disposition, but don’t judge that book by it’s cover because this old boy can turn and burn. He is fast as lightning and loves to show his stuff. Whiskey loves a nice long

True North has been a huge blessing to our family! Our son was having some behavioral issues because of some emotional junk that was in his life. through the lessons that he went through, he, and we, were able to take those things and apply them to our everyday lives. He took to the horses and the program so naturally that it was only a couple weeks in that we started to see a change. We have been able to continue to further use those lessons with not only him, but with our other children when tough situations arise. Our son has regained his confidence, passion and joy for life. Everything that this program stands for and has been able to do (and will do) for kids is truly amazing. We can’t wait to watch it grow and grow!

Skylar has always been my introvert, my quiet one, but she doesn’t miss a thing. Her demeanor carries with it a silent strength and the horses pick up on that. It’s as though they communicate as she rides, and as a momma who has watched this little girl struggle with other activities her whole life, it’s such a BLESSING to watch something that comes so easily. It’s as though she knew this would come along. She’s just been quietly and patiently preparing for it. What a privilege it is to be part of a program that will help so MANY families experience the same wonder.

I truly believe God puts people into our lives for a purpose. In my darkest hour of praying God sends my family two amazing ladies, Colleen and Mendy. These two ladies have a calling to help kids young and old. By using God and horses as their tools they transform hardened hearts. He fills them with love, hope, and a purpose for life. My daughter has taken to both of you… Thank you for being stunning Christian women!
